This report summarizes the results and lessons learned from technical assistance supporting sector reform for scaling up rural sanitation in Laos. The assistance was carried out by the World Bank’s water and sanitation program from July 2012 to February 2015, and is part of a larger support program to assist the Government of Lao PDR, particularly the Ministry of Health, to scale up access to, and the use of, improved sanitation in rural areas of the country. The annexes to this synthesis report are the products that have been delivered to the Ministry of Health during the implementation of this assistance.
