A Cambodian policy document on promotion of paddy rice production and export of milled rice. To realise the vision of agricultural development, the government has adopted a three pronged-strategy – productivity enhancement, diversification and agricultural commercialisation (from subsistence to commercial agriculture) through implementing a package of interrelated measures. The document describes Cambodia's potential to increase its rice exports, the Government’s vision and strategy, and the market situation and other challenges. Policy measures are then outlined for the short and medium to longer-term.
