National Forest Policy Review: Thailand

ຈັດພິມໂດຍ: Voices for Mekong Forest

Forestry policies do not last long and lack continuity. Some problems are solved temporarily but emerge again in the future. If policies are not incorporated into the national social and economic plan, they do not endure and their impact is limited. Forest fire is a serious threat that occurs every year. The RFD has strived to combat fires but they will persist as long as local people do not cooperate with the RFD.
