Hydro CDM hall of shame

ຈັດພິມໂດຍ: Open Development Cambodia

The Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) is meant to catalyze climate-friendly and sustainable projects in low-income countries. In Cambodia, despite a lack of sufficient consultation with communities in the affected areas of Koh Kong province and alleged violation of Cambodian laws, the 246 MW Stung Tatay Hydroelectric Project located in the Southern Cardamom Mountain Tropical Forest in Koh Kong province got a registration. The construction project has been implemented by China National Heavy Machinery Corporation since March 2010.
