Sub-Decree No. 88 on deployment master plan for land development projects at Bokor city

Sub-Decree No. 88 on deployment master plan for land development projects at Bokor city has set a vision at 2035 and been possible to revise every 5 years due to necessity of economic and social development. The vision of the master plan has prepared with legal and technical specifications for facilitating throughout economic development, oriented sustainable development, land use needs, household development, and other developments for present and further to ensure resources conservation and management. Its sub-decree is going to take place in Monivong National Park (Bokor), Kampot, Sihanoukville, and Kampong Speu Provinces, covering an area of ​​approximately 27,943 hectares with equivalent to 18.09% of Monivong National Park (Bokor) in 154,546 hectares, pursuant to Sub-Decree No.171 dated on December 2010 on the demarcation of Monivong Bokor National Park and Preah Suramarit Kosomak Ki Virom National Park with the aim of ensuring the sustainable management and development of Bokor City. The location is a former historical city during the period 1925 to 1962 with potential weather conditions, spectacular scenery along with mountains and coastal areas, a tourism site, and attractive infrastructure.
