The MIMU Baseline Dataset tracks available data from published sources on more than 200 indicators across 12 sectors to support planning and monitoring processes. In this dataset, only the area (km2) no of village tracts, villages, wards, Health care facilities and staff, Education facilities and staff were included. Data for Education and Health Information Management Systems, has been entered for several consecutive years allowing us to use the MIMU Baseline data to track trends at township level. However, most recent data was showed in this dataset. Vlookup function was used to ensure that the data are accurate.

The MIMU team gathers data at the lowest administrative level at which it is available (i.e. Union, State/Region or Township level), and digitizes this in the form of a DevInfo database (enables simple maps to be generated by users) and as an Excel table for those who are not familiar with DevInfo. Data from some sources, such as the Education and Health Information Management Systems, has been entered for several consecutive years allowing us to use the MIMU Baseline data to track trends at township level.
