As of 7:00 AM on July 30, 2020, a positive case of COVID-19 virus, one American man, a senior US diplomat, resided at the US Embassy in Phnom Penh. He was traveling from the United States. The patient was placed in a separate room at the US Embassy in Cambodia for treatment by US embassy medical staff. Seven Cambodian men and one American woman were recovered, including five men from Saudi Arabia and two men, a 34-year-old and a five-year-old boy traveled from the United States and another woman is a senior US diplomat.
