Statistics on foreign direct investment Cumulative Monthly for 2017 (January-December)
Statistics on FDI in Thailand are collected and published by two main agencies: the Bank of Thailand and the Board of Investment (BOI). These agencies use different methods to gather their statistics, which makes direct quantitative comparisons between the numbers they report impractical. According to Thailand's BOI, any project in Thailand where foreign investors together own at least 10 percent of the shares is considered as part of Thailand's FDI.
