Labour and social trends in Vietnam 2009/10

This is a rich information source that can be used as an advocacy tool for advancing decent work in Viet Nam. The report provides an overview of recent labour market trends in the country, followed by thematic chapters on the impacts of the global economic crisis and labourmarket issues for Viet Nam during the Asian Decent Work Decade. It also includes an annex of internationally comparable and sex-disaggregated labour market statistics. In addition, the report provides a number of policy considerations for the Government of Viet Nam in planning the Socio-Economic Development Strategy for 2011-2020 as well as the Socio-EconomicDevelopment Plan for 2011-2015.
