Teaching quality in Cambodia's primary education: Toward incentivizing effort, performance, and quality assurance

The main aim of this study is to explore the effectiveness of the remuneration and teacher policy reforms in improving teaching quality. This includes an assessment of the attractiveness of the teaching profession, a review of teacher qualifications, and the investments in teacher capacity building as mandated by the Teacher Policy Action Plan (TPAP), as well as an assessment of teacher performance on effort, competencies, and classroom practices.
