Survey of Cambodian public opinion (November 2008)

The survey was conducted nationwide on a sample of 2,000 Cambodian people from 22 October to 25 November 2008, by the Center for Advanced Studies (CAS). Over 80 % of the respondents felt that the country headed in the right direction due to construction of more roads and schools whereas around 20% of them pointed out to corruption and high price of goods for their pessimism and dissatisfaction. When they were asked to list a single issue of their concern for the daily life, a lack of agricultural land and food price were on the top.
