Population Displacement and Forest Management in Thailand

The objective of this paper is to enhance the understanding of the recent evolution of forest policies in Thailand, of which conservation-induced displacement (CID) has come to represent the most aggressive and feared intervention. The paper identifies and formally analyses 60 cases of CID which occurred between 1986 and 2005.
