Understanding children’s work and youth employment outcomes in Laos 2014

Almost 71,000 children age 6-13 years, 6.5 percent of this age group, are in employment in Laos according to 2010 Laos Labour Force and Child Labour Survey (LFCLS 2010). All of these children are also in child labour for elimination in accordance with the Lao legislation, which prohibits employment below the age of 14.
