Arbitral awards for the labor incident involving Zhong Yin (Cambodia) B Textile Co., Ltd.

This arbitral award is issued by the Arbitrator Council on the issue between Zhong Yin (Cambodia) B Textile Co., Ltd.(employer) and the ​Workers' representatives in resolving collective labor disputes of Zhong Yin (Cambodia) B Textile Co., Ltd. (employee). According to the award, 4 points are demanded by the employee side and are yet to be resolved including 1) the employer pays workers owed seniority indemnity; 2) the employer pays wages and other benefits to workers whose jobs were suspended illegally; 3) the employer reinstates members of the Democratic Trade Union of Workers and provides back pay and benefits; and 4) the employer provides back pay for 12 other workers relating to another case. The outcome of the arbitral award was that the Arbitration Council decided not to arbitrate the case as workers did not end a strike, against the Council’s order.
