Cambodia, third phase of the Mekong integrated water resources management project, indigenous people’s policy framework

This document provides the Indigenous Peoples Policy Framework for the third phase of the Mekong Integrated Water Resources Management Project in Cambodia. This framework will be applied to all investments to be financed by the World Bank for technical and/or financial support from the project that involve indigenous peoples. The document gives an overview of indigenous people in Cambodia, legal frameworks and regulations and key issues. The report also describes implementation of the project and provides technical guidelines for consultation with indigenous people affected by investment.
