Decision No. 419/QD-TTg issued by the Prime Minister to approve the National program on reducing greenhouse gas emissions through limitation of forest loss and degradation; conservation and enhancement of carbon stocks and sustainable management of forest resources (REDD + program) by 2030. Objective of the program is to contribute to the protection and improvement of natural forest, area extension and planted forest quality; Linking and integrating with the implementation of national objective for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, protecting and developing forests, green growth; attracting international support, approaching the carbon credit market; improve people's living and sustainable development of the country.
