Distribution of soil types in Cambodia (Crocker, 1962)

This vector dataset provides the distribution of soil types in Cambodia, as provided by Crocker (1962). Sixteen different soil types are given: red-yellow podzols, latosols, planosols, plinthite podzols, cultural hydromorphics, grey hydromorphics, plinthitic hydromorphics, brown hydromorphics, alumisols, regurs, acid lithosols, basic lithosols, alluvial lithosols, brown alluvial soils, lacustrine alluvial soils, coastal complex, Geographic data is encoded in the WGS 84 coordinate reference system. Data were provided to ODC in vector format by Save Cambodia's Wildlife's Atlas Working Group.

Process Step Data were provided to Open Development Cambodia directly by Save Cambodia's Wildlife's 2013 Atlas Working Group in ESRI Shapefile format. The coordinate reference system was changed from WGS 84 Zone 48 N to WGS 84 and the data was exported in both ESRI Shapefile and geoJSON formats.
