As per EIA Procedures (2015), this ESIA report for Tigyit coal-fired power plant (120 MW) to identify and evaluate the potential impacts from the operation of the power plant. The project is an existing one and located in Tigyit Village Tract, Pinlaung Township, Pa Oh Self-Administration Region, Southern Shan State. The project proponent, Wuxi Hua Guang (Myanmar) Co., Ltd., is a sole subsidiary of the former famous boiler manufacturer, Wuxi Hua Guang Boiler Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China. The total land area of power plant is 45.05 hectares.
