Second Exploration License No. 868 on Authorizing Cambodia Iron and Steel Mining Industry Group to Conduct Iron Mine Exploration

This license authorizes Cambodia Iron and Steel Mining Industry Group, address House number 56, street 51, Phnom Penh, to conduct iron mine exploration in Roveang district, Preah Vihear province, on the land surface of 1306.74 square kilometers or 13,674 hectares, (excluding the 3.75 square kilometer of stone mountain area which is the concession that belongs to Ratanak Stone Cambodia Development Co., Ltd, located in Roveang district, Preah Vihear province). The detailed coordinates of the licensed site were included in Article 1.

  • The company has to process the mine exploration on the defined surfaces, apply the annual plan and its working program in order to guarantee the technical standard during the mine exploration.
  • Before expiry within 30 days, the company has to apply for the renewal of the exploration license.
Suspension and/or revocation or termination

In case of offend over the terms of agreement dated 26 September 2008, this license will be revoked or fined according with the law on the management and exploitation of mineral resources.
