Technology-facilitated gender-based violence: Developing a shared research agenda
The report presents a global framework created by UN Women, SVRI, and partners to guide future research on online gender-based violence. Drawing on expert input and a review of existing evidence, it identifies major gaps in knowledge and proposes 75 priority research questions across five areas: understanding the prevalence and impact of TFGBV, strengthening responses, improving prevention, addressing the needs of diverse populations, and developing better research methods. The agenda serves as a roadmap to support evidence-based policy, safer digital environments, and more effective, survivor-centred interventions.
