The Ministry of Health's notification on 291 new positive cases of COVID-19 and 23 recovery cases on 16 April 2021
As of 7 am on April 17, 2021, there were 291 new positive cases, and 23 recovery cases of Covid-19 in Cambodia. Among those found positive, there were 229 cases in Phnom Penh, 26 cases in Preah Sihanouk, 14 cases in Kandal, two in Prey Veng, eight in Svay Rieng, and 12 in Takeo. The recovery cases are those who were related to the community event on 20 February. They were treated and recovered within which 13 cases in Phnom Penh, six in Preah Sihanouk, and four cases in Pursat. In addition, there one new death case in Preah Sihanouk.
