ANFREL final report: 2003 Cambodia general elections
The report was the result of ANFREL's missions to observe Cambodia's 2003 National Assembly elections from 19 May to 3 August 2003. A total of 65 observers (10 long-term and 55 short-term observers) were deployed in over 20 provinces in the country's target areas. The observers underlined many persistent problems in the 2003 elections including the continued problems of voter's registration, active participation of the government officials at all levels in the election, a refusal to broadcast each party's election campaigns by private media, and intimidation.
