Prakas No.101 on Establishment and Management of Community Forest Areas in Battambang Province
Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) issue Prakas to establish Forestry Community, located Forestry Administraion (FA) Borvil, Morng Russei and Ratanak Mondul, of Battambang's District. There are 13 areas of the community forest were established with total areas 3,531 hectares was aimed to conserve biodiversity, manage the traditional use of forest products and sub-products for the livelihood, tradition and religious believes in accordance with potential and resources of the community forest, all in all contributing to the government's policy on the poverty reduction.Maps and boundary along with coordinates were attached in annex 1 and annex 2 of this circular.
